About Us

Just Bee Retreat prides itself for its warm, friendly hospitality. Your hosts Cath and Sandra Simpson, have many years experience in the hospitality industry and are dedicated to making your stay a wonderful, comfortable, memorable experience.

CATH has been around since the early ‘50’s and Sandra is her youngest daughter. After a long successful career in the wholesale nursery industry, in partnership with her ex-husband, growing perennials, ground covers and herbs, Cath moved to Spoelklippies Farm.

It was here where she helped establish a Guest Farm which prided itself for adventure activities particularly 4x4-ing. Since 2002 Cath has been studying consciousness through the powerful international Avatar courses which she now teaches and presently lives in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. A life time of experience and passion has come together in the Just Bee Retreat manifesto.
SANDRA has worked and trained as a cordon blue chef at Silwood, Cape Town. She has worked in the hospitality industry for 8 years in Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Norway and South Africa in both catering and hostessing. She is also a qualified Karuna Reiki Master and Avatar Master and has now settled in the beautiful city of Nelspruit.

Just Bee Retreat tailor makes all group bookings to suit the client and the needs of the group.
