The 4x4 training ground can be used for successful training of bikers as there are many challenges to test their riding skills while the 4x4 trails, hiking trails and the many dirt roads in the Kwena Basin are also wonderful routes to explore.
Just Bee Retreat does NOT permit off road bikes on the farm unless belonging to a special group or club under the leadership of a leader and a sweeper. In such circumstances the group is required to book out the entire facility. Off road bikes have the bad name of being very noisy machines driven by cowboys! |

In our experience this is not altogether true, bikes when ridden sensibly are not excessively noisy and most riders do take care particularly when riding in a sensitive environment such as Just Bee Retreat. However, the decision has been made never to jeopardise the peace and tranquillity of our permanent residents and other guests by allowing individual bikes onto the farm. Special arrangements through Ruddaman’s Nelspruit can be made for groups or clubs with off-road-bikes who want to stay at Just Bee Retreat to enjoy our facilities exclusively.
